The story of Team Pedercini began in 1993, when Lucio Pedercini, already shown in the National Championships, with the support of hisfamily, proves that he has the qualities to compete at high levels and, in fact, he graduates in 1996 second highest in the private pilot GP 500. In 1998, the Team decided to abandon the Moto GP world and move to the World Championship reserved to the derived from the series, the Superbike. In 2001 two Italian riders, Marco Borciani and Mauro Sanchini, alongside Lucio Pedercini who triumphs in the Italian Superbike Championship and collects good results even in the World.
In 2002, the Team confirmed Lucio Pedercini and Marco Borciani, but repalced Sanchini with the coming of Foti.
Having now the competitive Ducati 998R Testastretta, former world champions in 2001, at the end of this season the Team is placed in the top ten ranking reserved for the teams. The year 2003 saw the entry of Gianluca Nannelli, national Supersport champion, inside the Team, but a serious injury in the third round puts him out from the season, leaving everything on the shoulders of Lucio Pedercini, who during this season gets her best finish in his career.
In 2004-2007 is still fraught with various times due to injuries by Lucio Pedercini, that still gets good results, as the pole position at Misano Adriatico in 2004 and second place overall in the CIV in 2005, season during which is flanked by Alessio Velini and Ivan Clementi. In 2006 Lucio Pedercini was forced to retire due to the continuing physical problems. In 2007, after a season only partially successful, the Team terminates the relationship with Ducati and in 2008 switches to Kawasaki. The years 2008/2009 saw, then, a Team completely renovated in motion and pilots.
