The thirteenth round of the HANNspree Superbike World Championship and the  ninth round of the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup will take place at the “Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours” over the weekend of October 2/3/4. Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours is a motor racing circuit located in France, near the towns of Magny-Cours and Nevers.  Usually dubbed Magny-Cours, it was built in 1960. In the 1980s the track fell into disrepair and wasn't  used for international motor racing until it was purchased by the Regional Conseil de la Nièvre. In the 1990s the Ligier Formula One team was based at the circuit and did much of its testing at Magny-Cours. The track nowadays is a modern, smooth circuit with good facilities for the spectators. Most corners are named after other racing circuits. It is a flat circuit, with negligible change in elevation.

Team’s Pedercini riders interviews

Javier Fores – Superstock 1000:  “In Magny Cours next Superstock round I just want to do my thing and get a good result. We have only two more races remaining in the championship and I want to hold my third position in the championship standing. I know very well this circuit because I participated to the Bol d’Or Endurance world championship race here in  Magny Cours two weeks ago. I wasn't happy with the result at Imola  so I want to have a really good race result in France this weekend”.

Ismael Ortega – Superstock 1000 :”Magny Cours is a new circuit which I have never ridden and I’m eager to ride and get to know this new circuit as normally I  learn tracks petty quickly. I hope for better things at Magny Cours than I had in Imola, where qualifying and race didn't turn out well. I am determined to make a good race day this weekend and I will be doing my best to help the team and to get the best results possible”.

Luca Scassa – Superbike : “Magny Cours is a nice circuit and I obtained good results here in my last races. I only hope it will not be too cold. After my last races in Imola I’m very motivated and also more confident with my bike. I want to work very hard with my team starting from Friday morning, because I want to reach a good result in Sunday’s races”.

David Salom – Superbike : “The last round at Imola didn't go the way we wanted and I'm looking forward to this weekend. The Magny Cours track layout is a little bit tough but it is also a bit of a rider's track. I'll be going all out to get those championship points we have been trying to take all year. In terms of set-up, we will probably start the weekend from where we ended in Imola.  I’m very motivated and I want to work very hard with my team starting from Friday morning”.
